Q1: Overview of business
Faber Vervoer is a family run, commercial transportation business which was established in 1989.
We specialise in the transportation of bricks, paving, cement products and concrete pipes. We currently run a fleet of 46 Mercedes-Benz trucks.
Q2: When did you buy your first Mercedes-Benz Actros?
We used the V-Series Trucks, and were in a position to buy our very first Mercedes-Benz Actros in 2003 (MP1).
We have never looked back since then!
Q3: What factors made you consider buying the Mercedes-Benz Actros initially and to this day?
The quality and durability of an Actros caught our eye (and it is of course a very nice truck to look at!)
We then took into consideration the reliability of the after-sales services and parts availability. Our V-Series trucks gave us many years of fantastic service, and we decided to try the reliability of the Actros as well. The Safety features of the truck was also an important consideration, and with the ever changing technology, Mercedes-Benz is always on top of this. Added to this, the truck promised to be great on fuel, and it is very well priced. All in all a very good deal!
Q4: Tell us about your experience with the Actros and our brand: Mercedes-Benz Trucks over the last 25 years.
The Actros delivers what it promises. We were very happy with the trucks. Great fuel consumption, comfort, and overall just a good buy. We have been dealing with different dealerships over the years, and received only the best of service. Sales staff and service staff alike are knowledgable, ready to assist, and always available. We have tested other truck brands, but keep returning to Mercedes-Benz. The reliability of the brand is just amazing!
